With the approval of the General Council,
the new region, composed of the provinces of
Latin America and the Caribbean and the United States and Canada,
takes the name:
PHILIPPINE DUCHESNE REGION
“We chose this name during our first meeting as a new region, on the 3rd to the 5th of July in Nemi, because it speaks to us profoundly of both boldness and rootedness. It offers us a way to continue rediscovering who we are from the perspective of Philippine’s dream.”
On the 9th and 10th of July, the capitulants engaged in an “Open Market,”
which allowed each of them to be active seekers of information,
rather than passive recipients of reports.
